We call her the beginning of an entirely new yacht classification. The
boating press agreed. We declared that she would be the epitome of comfortable
offshore living – a yacht whose beam, stability, seaworthiness,
extraordinary amenities, and thorough-going comfort would change people’s
attitudes toward long-range cruising. It did. We claimed that, while
she was not a sportfisherman, the 65 Odyssey had the diesel speed and
agile performance of a Super Sport. Her new owners confirmed it. And
we promised that the 65 Odyssey was just the beginning. We’ve kept
our word.
This year, Ocean proudly launches the second in our Odyssey Series: the 57 model.
